| Description: | to be filled by October 1, 2006 at the University of Dortmund/ Faculty of Spatial Planning. The successful candidate promotes the field of spatial planning in developing countries in teaching and research. The main focus is on theory and practice oriented research and teaching in the fields of spatial development and development management in developing countries considering economic, social, political, cultural and ecological aspects. The incumbent contributes to the international joint MSc programme “Spatial Planning for Regions in Growing Economies” (SPRING) which focuses on less developed, newly industrialised and transformation countries, as well as to the Dipl.-Ing. programme “Spatial Planning” which is presently being transformed according to the BSc/MSc system. |
